The World Bank isseeking to commission the endline survey data collection for theimpact evaluation of drought-related shock-responsive cash transfers inMauritania which will provide evidence for similar programs across the world.The objective of this consultancy is to prepare and conduct the endline surveys(through electronic data collection in SurveyCTO) and deliver high-quality andcomprehensive datasets to the research team. The survey is a multi-modulehousehold questionnaire provided by the research team. The modules will coverhousehold geocoordinates and contact information (this may include contactinformation from several members), household composition and characteristics ofhousehold members, food security, food and non-food consumption, incomegenerating activities, finance (savings, loans, and credit), mental health andwell-being, productive assets and household durables, shocks and copingstrategies, among others. The surveys will target household heads,including specific groups such as women. The endline survey is expected tostart in May 2025. Previous experience carrying out household surveys forimpact evaluation with 5000+ respondents must be demonstrated.
